Yenagoa, Bayelsa State – The annual Bayelsa Youth Leadership Awards, a platform recognizing outstanding young individuals contributing to the state's development, will hold its 8th edition on August 12, 2024. The Bayelsa Youth Leadership Awards /International Youth Day Concert , event will feature a concert and a gathering of influential figures to honor young leaders across various sectors.
This year’s theme, “From Click to Progress: Youth Digital Pathways to Sustainable Development,” aligns with the United Nations’ focus on the role of technology in youth empowerment. The awards will spotlight exceptional young talents in sports, entertainment, entrepreneurship, academics, leadership, science, humanitarianism, agriculture, and other fields. The event also recognises Stakeholder, Elderstatesmen and advocate of Youth Development.
The event promises to be a dynamic platform for networking and inspiration, bringing together seasoned speakers, industry leaders, government officials, youth advocates, and civil society organizations.
