EPIE - ATISSA YOUTH SYNERGY INITIATIVE PRESENTS AWARD OF APPRECIATION TO MY HUMBLE SELF, AS I FURTHER ANNOUNCED EMPOWERMENT FUNDS FOR 8 EPIE/ATISSA WOMEN IN BUSINESS/FARMING

Today, i received youth from Epie - Atissa, under the auspices of " Epie - Atissa youth synergy initiative", they presented an award of appreciation to me, in recognition of my selfless service, philanthropical gestures and benevolence, specifically to Epie - Atissa Youth and Bayelsans at large.

The Youth were led by Comr. Izibeya Emelah as President and Comr. Ben. Silas Ogbara as vice president, while presenting the award, they expressed their heartwarming appreciation to me as recipient, for my immense contributions and numerous supports to Youth in Epie - Atissa Kingdom, they acknowledged.

In my response, i commended the group for finding me worthy to be awarded and recognized,  i acknowledged their calm and peaceful disposition and stated that their actions was a morale booster for me and my team to continue in our usual style of empowering youth and making positive impact to humanity.

I further utilized the medium to advise the youth of the twin Epie/ Atissa Kingdoms to rise up to the challenges of security issues in Yenagoa considering the fact that they are Host to the state capital. I charged them to be vigilant of their environment, respect traditional institutions and be role models to ensure positive narratives of our capital city.

I further reiterated the need for peace, unity and synergy amongst youth of the state, also tasking them to be vigilant in their communities and report suspected persons, criminal activities to relevant security authorities to ensure peaceful coexistence in yenagoa metropolis.

Following a plea from Silas Ogbara, I announced an empowerment initiative for four (4) elderly women drawn from four (4) different communities in both Epie and Atissa Kingdoms.
