Julián Álvarez has officially signed with Atlético Madrid, leaving Manchester City.

A post on the club’s X account on Monday disclosed this the 24-year-old will be at the club until 2030.
A statement from the club website titled “Welcome Julián Alvarez!” noted that a six-year deal had been reached.
Álvarez is a versatile and skilled forward He debuted for River Plate in 2018, scoring 54 goals and providing 31 assists in 122 games, and was the top scorer in the 2020/21 Argentine league.
It read, “Our club and Manchester City have reached an agreement for the transfer of the World and American champion striker with the Argentine national team which has signed a contract for the next six seasons.
