Joe Ajaero, President of the Nigeria Labour Congress, has departed from the headquarters of the Intelligence Response Team in Abuja. The NLC chairman, who showed up precisely at 10:17am, departed at 11:15am following the completion of his statement. Ajaero remained silent when approached by journalists at the IRT headquarters, but mentioned that he would speak to journalists at the NLC headquarters. Last week, Ajaero was asked to come to the IRT headquarters on August 20 at 10 am by the police to discuss his suspected role in terrorism financing, cybercrime, subversion, criminal conspiracy, and treasonable felony. Ajaero, who was unable to attend, assured he would attend the invitation later today. Ajaero was joined by Femi Falana, SAN, Marshal Abubakar, Deji Adeyanju, and a few top officials from the NLC.
