Ladies and gentlemen,member of the press.

We welcome you to a world press conference organized by the National Association of Nigerian Students  (NANS) Zone B (South-South). 
The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Zone B election held on October 26, 2024, was a resounding success, characterized by peace and fairness. This milestone marked the beginning of a new era in student leadership, as the election produced a new team of dedicated executives committed to serving the students' interests.

The newly elected executives have made it clear that they will not tolerate factionalism, emphasizing unity and cooperation among students. We are  encouraging all students to trust in our vision and leadership, promising an inclusive and representative administration.

To promote student welfare, the new executives are already working on various activities, events, and plans designed to benefit the students. These initiatives will foster a conducive learning environment, promote student engagement, and address pressing concerns.

We thank  the shakeholder,senators and J.J.C chairmen in the South-south for giving us this mandate,they should reasured that this mandate is for all Nigeria students in South-South, the new exco of NANS zone b is to fight for the right and warfarism of students in the zone and nigeria at large.

We want to seize this opportunity to thank the president and the commander in chief of the armforces of the federal Republic of Nigeria Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for his outstanding initiative on the student loan program(Nelfund).

This is the first of its kind and attestation to the fact that the president places much value on education and welfare of Nigeria students.
It is no news that the payment has commenced in other sister zones, so we look to getting same testimony from student in campuses within the South-South zone.

"We are committed to working with Comrade Pedro Chibuzo Obi to advance the interests of Nigerian students. Our zone will continue to uphold the principles of democracy, transparency, and accountability."
