NO GOING BACK ON LG POLLS – GOV. FUBARA
...Affirms Commitment to Good Governance
...Receives Defectors in Ikwerre LGA
Governor Siminalayi Fubara has made it clear: there's no turning back on the upcoming Local Government elections. During a gathering at the country home of Hon. Boniface Emerengwa, the member representing Ikwerre-Emohua Federal Constituency, in Igwuruta, Ikwerre Local Government Area, Governor Fubara stated that his administration is fully committed to delivering good governance and driving development across the state.
He emphasized that preparations are in full swing and urged the people to work diligently at the grassroots level, brushing off the naysayers who are already conceding defeat.
The Governor welcomed a wave of defectors to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), assuring them that they would have equal rights and opportunities as longstanding members. He called on them to stand firm, support the administration, and exercise patience as his government pursues a path grounded in justice and good governance.
Advising his supporters to stay away from the politics of insults and disrespect, he noted that those who resort to such tactics are only displaying their frustration and lack of proper upbringing."We are focused on good governance, and that’s our priority,"
Governor Fubara said. “Join us now, whether you’re a new member or have been with us from the start – the opportunities are the same for everyone. This is the best time to get involved.”
Hon. Boniface Emerengwa expressed his gratitude to the Governor for welcoming the new members and pledged their full support to his administration.
