PDP must act now, tolerated Wike for too long – Ex-National Auditor, Nnaji
A former National Auditor of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, named Bar. Ray Nnaji has recommended that the party endured the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike for an extended period of time.
Nnaji made this statement during a private interview with journalists when discussing his perspective on the party's ongoing crisis.
This arises in response to Wike's challenge for any PDP governor or leader to openly accuse him of being a mole.
The challenge was thrown by the Minister during his appearance on Channels Television's Politics Today show.
He had previously challenged PDP governors over his warning that he would ignite a fire in their states.
Wike stated he had no apologies for anyone, maintaining that no disaster would occur.
Nevertheless, the ex-auditor expressed his sorrow over the current state of the party, emphasizing that any true member of the PDP would disapprove of the current situation within the party. He also mentioned his disbelief in Wike's ability to be a member of both the APC and the PDP simultaneously.
Nnaji additionally mentioned that the PDP took too long to replace its previous National Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu, maintaining that this allowed the crisis to escalate.
