VOLUNTEER NAB SUSPECTED CRIMINALS IN YENAGOA, RECOVERS STOLEN ITEMS, APPEAL FOR SUPPORT
The Bayelsa State Volunteers has paraded a suspected criminal, identified as 40years old Omotombo Knowwell Odede from Okutukutu Community in Yenagoa on Thursday 8th of August for allegedly stealing GP Tank, doors and protectors in a fenced compound at Agboli street, Yenagoa.
The operation which led to the arrest of the suspect, also resulted in the recovery of the stolen items from the buyer and the Aboki was also paraded by the Volunteers operatives who have been working tirelessly to combat crime and ensure peace and security in the state.
This followed a report by the owner of the stolen items who pleaded anonymous at the time of filling this publication.
The culprits have been handed over to men of the Nigeria Police, Bayelsa State Command for further interrogation and possible prosecution.
Reacting to the development, Chief Oyinkuro Lucky Asanakpo, Overseer of the Bayelsa State Volunteers, has again appealed to the public for useful informations and support to fight crime and maintain the relative peace.
